Copacabana

hallo iedereen. Ik ben ondertussen een kleine week in Cochabamba geweest. Eigenlijk niet veel over te vertellen. Goed gegeten, leuk nederlands koppel tegengekomen. Veel mate gedronken! Vanaf daar heb ik de bus genomen naar dit plaatsje, aan de kust van lago Titicaca. De bedoeling was van hier een mooie zeilboot te huren en een weekje lago Titicaca te bevaren. Soijtig genoeg is hier de mogelijkheid niet om dergelijke boten te huren. Ze hebben wel van die kleine schuitjes met een zeiltje, maar niks om echt weg te trekken. Maar het positieve is wel dat er morgen een of ander feest is. Waarom precies weet ik niet, maar het heeft iets te maken met 3 mei.... Bovendien zit ik hier vlakbij Isla del sol en Isla de la luna, de geboorteplaats van de Incagodsdienst. Moet dus zeker de moeite waard zijn om dat eens te gaan bezoeken hoewel dat voor overmorgen zal zijn. Ik zal er achteraf wel eens iets over schrijven.

Hello world. By now I've been a little under a week in Cochabamba. Not much to tell about that place. For the first time in Bolivia I had some great food. I've also met a nice Dutch coupple and drank a lot of mate. Than I took the bus to Copacabana, at the shore of lago Titicaca. I wanted to rent a sailing boat here and explore the lake like that, but that seems to be impossible. On the other hand, there is a festival here tomorrow, something to do with the third of may.... Also very close to here there are the Isla del sol and the Isla de la luna. Wich are the birthplaces of inca religion. Worth checking out i think. Afterwards i'll tell you the story
